Chris Rodriguez

Our guy Chris Rodriguez took his one-man show from the Bronx through Miami and fifteen years ago, to Nashville. It’s been non-stop ever since. Cutting his teeth with the likes of Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith, C-Rod has since gone on to tour with Kenny Loggins and most recently Keith Urban.

Below is a quick montage we threw together from Keith Urban's "Livin' Right Now" DVD where Chris is playing his E. Indian Rosewood SD1. Not wanting to engage in a legal war with Team Urban (they sued an east coast painter who owned KeithUrban.com) , we kept it short and sweet here as we wanted to showcase Chris jamming away on his A. Davis.

Outside of being a phenomenal guitarist, Chris might be an even better singer. His back up vox can be found on smash hits by Faith Hill, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Shania Twain, Amy Grant. Vince Gill, Wynona and a slew of others.

Outside of the E. Indian Rosewood SD1, Chris also owns a Brazilian Rosewood A1.

Ironically, Chris has been a friend of the family long before A. Davis Guitars was even established. C-Rod's younger brother Mike (an accomplished drummer) is a long-time friend and was in a Miami-based band with our marketing/web/artist relations guy, Chris Bello. It truly is a small world after all, no?
