Created as a Country music strumming guitar intended to have a "Dreadnaught on steroids" type sound, the Jumbo was 'invented' to hang in there with big band instruments during live performances. Big body, big strings, big action and big sound.
Today you can find your favorite Country music crooners belting out their hits with a Jumbo in hand. If so, it's most likely not an A. Davis as only a few are in existence. The J1 is a custom-built instrument, which we'll gladly match to your specifications.
