With the ability to respond to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming, the SD-1 is a completely versatile instrument. Its carefully crafted shape helps the instrument retain volume and gives a defined bass response while still producing clear trebles and midrange tones.
Close to a 12-fret dreadnought in size, the extra body length gives the bass notes a chance to develop more fully. Ear-grabbing mids and highs that cut through the air like a corsair in the hands of an angry pirate are what it takes to complement the freight-train bass.
Warm and mellow in Mahogany, very well mannered in Maple but a bear in Rosewood, which you can work as hard as you'd please.
