Pat McGee & Brian Fechino

Below is some video footage captured in Spring 2007. Sick of being couped up in a studio back east, the band hit the left coast for a mini-tour. With camera in hand, we met Pat McGee and Brian Fechino at The Roxy for a pre-show, backstage, "Unplugged" performance.

Pat is playing a Brazilian Rosewood J1 (Jumbo). Brian is playing a Monterey Cypress A1.

'Must Have Been Love' can be found on PMB's 2004 release, "Save Me" and 'Shine' is the self-titled track off of their 2000 effort.

PMB has been at it since the early nineties and have really hit their stride the past half dozen years. A new album is in the works and this time around an A. Davis is sitting first chair for a few tunes.

We sent the guys a stripped-down, strummer-friendly Monterey Cypress A1 to check out in studio. They'd heard how these guitars responded under a mic and were ready to see for themselves.

The standard array of Gibsons and Martins will definitely be heard on this album. That's the vintage PMB sound. But there will be a few tunes on this new disc which stand out from the rest.

Pat wrote and recorded a handful of tracks on the A1, even finishing a timely, personal song he'd been looking to complete and was stuck on.

The A1 will sing on this record and we can't wait to hear it incorporated in with that distinctive Pat McGee Band sound. For more info, head over to PatMcGeeBand.com. Check them out on MySpace, download their tunes and for God's sake, see the PMB live, in a city near you.
